The 144 Initiative

The 144 Initiative is a benevolent foundation established to create change in high risk and Inner-City communities by social impact programs that provide access to skills training infrastructure and community development activities. Built on the foundations of the Rastafari Creed that the hungry be fed, the naked clothed, the sick nourished, the aged protected and the infants cared for, the 144 INITIATIVE works to fulfill these ambitions.

There have been many expectations that the youth of tomorrow will create a perfect example for the children of underpriveleged nations to rise above their disadvantaged beginnings to excell in their nation and play their part in the world at large. The 144 INITIATIVE works to fulfill that expectation, first in Jamaica and then branching out into other nations.

Calling on experts in the fields of technology, social welfare, agronomy, engineering, child care and health, the 144 Initiative has a roster of volunteers who give their services to workshops, special educational events, seminars and entertainment with a purpose, to motivate communities take actions to achieve the objectives of improving the lives of the youths and young adults, especially those who are already parents.

Using philanthropists, entertainment celebrities and social media influencers, as well as a variety of digital tools, the 144 INITIATIVE effectively reaches those who need its programs and resources.
